Delivery Driver/Warehouse Laborer Needed
WE ARE URGENTLY HIRING. LOOKING TO WELCOME A NEW MEMBER TO OUR TEAM IMMEDIATELY.
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail oriented person to fill our warehouse/delivery personnel position to work in a fast paced, friendly environment within the ever changing remodel and construction industry. We are a family-owned Kitchen remodel & General Contractor in East Orlando. Reliable transportation and punctuality are a MUST. The ideal candidate for the position will possess a friendly, professional and positive, self-driven attitude. The hours will be Monday-Friday 7:30 am - 4:00 pm. Schedule includes a 30 minute lunch break. This candidate will need to have a flexible schedule for work hours, as some days may run longer than 4:00 pm depending on deliveries.
The position includes the following duties:
- Maintaining Warehouse Organization & Inventory of Jobs In-House
- Receiving & Unloading materials from various Suppliers/Vendors
- Supporting the Project Managers with various tasks, as needed
- Heavy Lifting of construction materials (ability to lift 50+ lbs on a frequent basis is a requirement!)
- Driving a box truck or other company vehicle to deliver necessary materials to jobsites (clean driving record is a requirement!)
- Maintaining the property grounds, as needed
The ideal candidate will possess the following:
- Clean Driving Record, with NO violations or points.
- Clean Criminal Background
- Able to lift 50+ lbs frequently, with the occasional 150+ lbs (hand trucks and pallet jacks are to be used also).
- Flexible Schedule (some deliveries may result in later days)
- Customer Service (MUST maintain a polite and professional manner both over the phone and in person)
- A team player - striving for success
- Ability to stay self-driven, focus, & multi-task
- Highly Organized
- Written and verbal communication skills
- Experience in the construction industry preferred but not required.
