Job Description:
As a Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for ensuring our products reach our customers in a timely fashion. Your role will involve loading and unloading packages, driving to specified locations, and ensuring deliveries are made with excellent customer service. You will need to maintain professionalism and adhere to company policies and procedures at all times.
Responsibilities:
1. Safely drive and operate your delivery vehicle at all times.
2. Use hand-held device for routing information, customer delivery information.
3. Navigate a variety of routes throughout the delivery area.
4. Must be comfortable driving and working in varying weather conditions.
5. Load and unload packages to be delivered
6. Perform the following tasks, with or without reasonable accommodation:
– Lift packages up to 50 lbs.
– Able to get in and out of the van and walk up and down stairs through your shift
7. Interact in a positive and professional manner with the public while delivering products to customers’ homes, retail, and business locations.
Requirements:
1. Must possess a valid drivers license.
2. Must be at least 21 years old.
3. Ability to work in a dynamic environment and under pressure.
4. Must have a good understanding of English.
5. Previous experience as a delivery driver is a plus.
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience:
Previous delivery driving experience is preferred but not mandatory.
