Job Description:
As a Virtual Special Education Teacher, you will provide high-quality, individualized instruction to students with diverse learning needs from the comfort of your home. You will work closely with students, parents, and school administrators to ensure that each child receives the support and resources necessary to thrive academically and personally.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver engaging and personalized virtual instruction to students with special needs.
Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and monitor student progress.
Collaborate with parents, caregivers, and other educational professionals to support student growth and success.
Utilize digital tools and resources to enhance learning experiences and track student progress.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student performance and communicate regularly with parents and guardians.
Participate in virtual team meetings and professional development opportunities.
Qualifications:
Masters degree in special education or a related field
Valid Special Education teaching certification in Delaware.
Proven experience in special education, preferably in a virtual or online setting.
Strong proficiency with virtual teaching platforms and educational technology.
Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and manage a flexible schedule.
