Job Description:
As a dedicated CDL driver with Schneider National Inc., you will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating a commercial vehicle to deliver freight to our clients on dedicated routes. You will be an integral part of our commitment to delivering unrivaled customer service, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries.
Responsibilities:
– Safe operation of a commercial vehicle to transport goods to various customer locations.
– Conducting pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the proper functioning of the vehicle.
– Loading and unloading freight, while ensuring its safety and integrity.
– Timely completion of delivery paperwork and logs.
– Compliance with all Department of Transportation (DOT) and company regulations and guidelines.
Qualifications:
– Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).
– Minimum of 2 years of experience in tractor trailer driving.
– Clean driving record.
– Able to pass a pre-employment drug test and background check.
– Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
– Understanding of DOT rules and regulations.
– Excellent communication and customer service skills.
