Key Responsibilities Assist the teacher in implementing daily lesson plans and classroom activities, ensuring a smooth and productive learning environment. Provide individual and small group instruction to students as needed, tailoring your support to meet the unique needs and abilities of each student. Monitor student behavior and provide appropriate support and redirection, promoting positive behavior and social skills. Prepare and maintain classroom materials and supplies, ensuring that the classroom is well-organized and equipped to support student learning. Contribute to a positive and inclusive classroom culture, fostering a sense of community and respect among students, teachers, and staff. Assist with student supervision during recess, lunch, and other activities, ensuring the safety and well-being of students at all times. Communicate effectively with teachers, parents, and other school staff, providing regular updates and feedback on student progress and needs. Perform other duties as assigned, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to support the team in achieving its goals. Qualifications and Skills To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications and skills: High school diploma or equivalent, with a strong foundation in education and child development. Experience working with children preferred, with a demonstrated ability to connect with students and support their learning and development.
