Key Responsibilities:
Maintain the overall cleanliness and organization of the school building, including classrooms, hallways, offices, and common areas
Perform routine custodial tasks, such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and emptying trash and recyclables
Ensure the school is secure and safe by locking doors, setting alarms, and reporting any maintenance or security issues
Collaborate with other custodial staff to achieve cleaning and maintenance goals
Develop and maintain positive relationships with students, parents, and staff
Provide exceptional customer service and respond to requests and concerns in a timely and professional manner
Essential Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required
Previous custodial experience preferred, but not required
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Physical ability to lift, push, and pull heavy objects and equipment
Ability to work a 3rd shift schedule, 10PM - 6AM
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working in a school or educational setting
Certification in custodial services or a related field
Knowledge of cleaning protocols and procedures
Experience with custodial equipment and supplies
