Key Responsibilities and Expectations
As an Education Coordinator, your primary responsibility will be to serve as a liaison between our enrolled clients, their families, and school districts. This will involve:

Ensuring that clients can attend remote schooling through compliant teleconferencing platforms, providing technical support and troubleshooting as needed
Facilitating educational groups, documenting progress, and offering light tutoring to support clients' academic goals
Monitoring online activities, upholding technology use standards, and managing resources to ensure a safe and productive learning environment
Developing, coordinating, and evaluating educational programs aligned with Mission Prep values, ensuring that they meet the unique needs of our clients
Documenting clients' educational progress in electronic health records, providing regular updates to our clinical team and families
Supervising students during classes, ensuring safety and compliance with our policies and procedures
Providing updates on clients' educational goals during clinical sessions, working closely with our therapists and psychiatrists to ensure a holistic approach to care
Adapting the learning environment to meet individual client needs, providing accommodations and support as needed to ensure academic success


Essential Qualifications and Skills
To be successful in this role, you will need:

A Bachelor's degree in education or a related field, with a Master's degree preferred
A minimum of 1 year of experience in education-related environments, with a passion for aiding individuals with mental health and substance use disorders
Strong communication, conflict resolution, and crisis intervention skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, families, and school districts
Proficiency in technology and collaborative tools, with the ability to learn new systems and platforms as needed
The ability to multitask, problem-solve, and work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing time effectively
Successful completion of background checks, with a commitment to maintaining confidentiality and upholding our organization's values and policies


Preferred Qualifications and Skills
While not required, the following qualifications and skills are preferred:

Experience working with adolescents and families, with a strong understanding of the unique challenges and opportunities of this population
