Manage and maintain a portfolio of delinquent accounts
Initiate contact with clients through phone calls, emails, and follow-up correspondence
Negotiate payment arrangements and settle outstanding debts effectively
Document all interactions in accordance with company policy and compliance regulations
Build and maintain positive relationships with clients to foster trust and cooperation
Analyze financial status and client circumstances to develop tailored repayment plans
Collaborate with team members to improve collection strategies and processes
Requirements
Proven experience as a debt collector or in a similar role
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to negotiate and influence clients effectively
Familiarity with debt collection laws and regulations
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Proficiency in using collection software and Microsoft Office Suite
Ability to work independently while being part of a remote team environment
