Day Off Relief – UF Sanitation / Intake / 1 extra shift per week Location: Tulare - Paige Job... Summary and Responsibilities: Job Duties: This position relieves UF Sanitation & Milk Intake for the regular operators’ days off. While performing these jobs this relief person is expected to adhere to all of the same SOP’s, guidelines, procedures, parameters & demands as the regular operator. This position requires mechanical abilities and an understanding of cheese making equipment. Effectively monitor cheese making equipment including but not limited to; pasteurizers, separators, ultrafiltration (UF), reverse osmosis (RO), heat exchangers, analyzing equipment, pumps, silos, CIP systems & certified scales. Record & interpret data to make informed decisions and / or recommendations to support optimum cheese making operations. Initiate & monitor fluid commodity load outs & receipts. Professionally communicate with outside personnel, other operators and departments in reference to business needs. Follow make plans and make adjustments and changes to equipment as necessary. Clean all related equipment as needed to ensure sanitary conditions. Perform assigned Master Sanitation duties. The successful applicant must possess a valid California Department of Food & Agriculture (CDFA) Pasteurizer’s license, CDFA Weigher’s & Samplers license, California State Appendix N certification or have the ability to obtain them within six months of being place in this position. This position has one open/extra shift per week and will be assigned duties as necessary.
