Job title: Director of Operational Analytics and Scalability, Value-Based Care - Remote Company: DaVita Job description: 2000 16th St, Denver, Colorado, 80202, United States of America Director of Operational Analytics and Scalability, Value-Based Care Description The Director of Operational Analytics and Scalability, Value-Based Care will join the Commercial Integrated Kidney Care (IKC) team – taking ownership for many of the core processes and operational analytics that serve as a foundation for our value-based care business. IKC is rapidly growing and a key part of this role will be designing processes that use technology and analytics to allow us to scale sustainably. This individual will bring a strategic lens to how we improve operational reporting, analytical rigor, process design, and project management. This role is highly cross-functional and will partner across many lanes. It will also be a highly visible role, working closely with executive leadership and ensuring they have clear visibility into performance and trends. Location: Denver preferred, remote okay Essential duties and responsibilities: The following duties and responsibilities reflect the expectations of this position but are not intended to be all inclusive. • Set strategic direction for Commercial IKC Program Enablement and Operational Analytics and scalability functions • Oversee and optimize the process of launching new value-based care programs with payor and health system partners • Oversee and optimize the process by which patients are attributed to our programs to ensure we are engaging the right patients as quickly as possible • Mature our analytical rigor through investments in people and technology • Drive prioritization of reporting needs for Commercial IKC and partner with respective teams to ensure our data and reporting needs are being met • Balance the trade-offs of investing in scalable solutions with a need to be agile and move quickly, especially in the face of rapid growth • Partner with operational, clinical, actuarial, finance, IT, and account management teams to identify opportunities and design solutions that meet their needs • Lead special projects on process and analytics redesign, introducing technology to automate and systematize activities that are currently manual • Develop and retain a strong team of individuals who are analytical and process-minded but also understand the operational, clinical, and financial aspects of IKC • Foster the DaVita Way by encouraging teammate contribution, respect, and support of all types of individuals. • 10-20% travel if/when travel is approved (given COVID policies) Qualifications • Minimum of eight (8) years of experience in operations and/or strategy; track record of strong operational execution and business results • Bachelor’s degree required • MBA / MHA preferred • Experience in Healthcare strongly preferred, value-based care and integrated care experience a plus • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills to build credibility as a strategic thought partner • Expertise explaining and presenting data in intuitive ways to support decision-making at every level (executive to front-line) • Experience managing a team, teams handling analytics, or reporting a plus • Be hypothesis and insights-driven, have a strong nose for value and a bias towards action • Excel at facilitating complex conversations to drive to prioritization, actions, and results • Excellent analytical skills • Driven with ability to work in a very fast-paced, hard-working, and fun environment • Experience with process improvement methodologies such as Six Sigma / Lean a plus • Personal values in line with DaVita's values of Service Excellence, Integrity, Team, Continuous Improvement, Accountability, Fulfillment & Fun What We’ll Provide: More than just pay, our DaVita Rewards package connects teammates to what matters most.
