Role: Databricks Platform AdminLocation: Remote (Eastern time)Duration: 12+ monthsMust have active Databricks CertificationPrimary Skills :Workspace and Access ManagementDeep understanding on creating and managing Unity Catalog, workspace, SCIM provisioning, role-based access control (RBAC), and entitlements.Ability to manage users, groups, service principals, and their access to data, notebooks, clusters, and jobs.Compute and Cluster ManagementExperience configuring and managing Databricks compute resources, including job clusters, interactive clusters, cluster policies, pooling, and autoscaling.Knowledge of cost optimization using spot instances, instance pools, Query tuning /Optimization and job orchestration.Platform Monitoring and GovernanceProficiency with audit logging, diagnostics, billing usage reports, and monitoring performance and resource utilization.Ability to create/ Manage alerting , monitor compliance/security policies (e.g., IP access lists, credential passthrough, secret scopes) and tagging .Nice to have :Py-spark KnowledgeEmployers have access to artificial intelligence language tools (“AI”) that help generate and enhance job descriptions and AI may have been used to create this description.
