Databricks Engineer (Remote CST Preferred) Location: Remote (CST preferred) Duration: 6 12 Months Contract Openings: 4 Start Date: ASAP Role Overview We are seeking hands-on Databricks Engineers to support a large-scale Healthcare Quality Analytics initiative. This role is heavily focused on building Databricks pipelines, modernizing legacy SQL/stored procedures, and contributing through code reviews and pair programming to help elevate overall team capability. This is an engineering-first role (not architecture-only). Key Responsibilities • Design, develop, and maintain Databricks data pipelines • Migrate legacy SQL and stored procedures into Databricks • Develop ETL / ELT workflows using PySpark and SQL • Participate in code reviews, pair programming, and knowledge sharing • Collaborate with cross-functional data and analytics teams • Follow best practices for version control and CI/CD Required Skills • Strong hands-on Databricks experience • Python, Spark / PySpark • Advanced SQL (including stored procedures) • ETL / ELT pipeline development • GitHub or Bitbucket • 5+ years of overall experience (flexible) • Comfortable in an 80 100% hands-on engineering role Nice to Have • Databricks certification • Healthcare / CMS / Medicare domain experience Apply tot his job
