This is a database developer
• This is a production support role
• Lot of databases have business logic that is in production
• Coding fixing, statements
• Qualifications:
• Postgres SQL development and RedShift
• AWS experience
• Writing complex SQL queries & stored procedures; tuning them
• Needs to be aware of current database trends, especially around AI dev tools (SQL coding, performance tuning)
• Nice to haves
• Degree strongly preferred
• Oracle helps
• Scripting experience - they use Terraform
• DMS - Amazon service used to move data
• IRA - used to track their work
• Media experience
• Cert (Postgres, AWS)
• Soft skills
• Interacts with all development teams - devops team, infrastructure team
• Good conversation skills
• Interpersonal skills
• Thorough and attention to details
