Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Data Analyst with 5+ years of hands-on experience in data analysis, reporting, and business intelligence. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in querying large datasets, interpreting data trends, and communicating insights that drive business decisions.
You will work closely with stakeholders across departments (Product, Operations, Finance, etc.) to design and deliver accurate, actionable, and timely analyses.
Key Responsibilities:
Gather, clean, and analyze large datasets from various sources to support business objectives.
Translate business questions into analytical problems and deliver clear insights.
Build dashboards and visualizations using tools like Power BI, Tableau, or Looker.
Write efficient and scalable SQL queries to extract and manipulate data.
Conduct deep-dive analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
Present findings and recommendations to business stakeholders and senior leadership.
Collaborate with data engineering teams to improve data pipelines and data models.
Ensure data integrity and accuracy across all reporting platforms.
Automate recurring reports and develop reusable data assets.
Support A/B testing, forecasting, and statistical modeling as needed.
Required Qualifications:
5+ years of experience as a Data Analyst, Business Analyst, or similar role.
Strong command of SQL and experience with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, SQL Server, Oracle).
Proficiency in data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar.
Experience with Excel (pivot tables, advanced formulas) and data wrangling.
Solid understanding of data modeling, KPIs, and performance metrics.
Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication skills ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
Bachelor s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with Python or R for statistical analysis or data manipulation.
Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
Exposure to ETL tools (e.g., Alteryx, Talend, Apache NiFi).
Knowledge of business intelligence best practices, data governance, and data security.
Master s degree or relevant certifications (Google Data Analytics, Microsoft Certified Data Analyst, etc.).
