Job title: Data Visualization Contractor – TableauThis is a W2 Position Company: Braintrust Job description: • JOB TYPE: Freelance, Contract Position (no agencies/C2C - see notes below) • LOCATION:Remote United States only - (Time Zone: PST/CIST | Partial overlap) • HOURLY RANGE:Our client is looking to pay $80 – $90/hr • ESTIMATED DURATION: 40h/week THE OPPORTUNITY RequirementsSenior ETL Data Engineer is responsible for supporting Data Engineering activities and Tableau Server Administration.• Design, develop and support Tableau dashboards • Perform Tableau Administrator duties such as installation, upgrades, and OKTA configuration • Collect and monitor the metrics necessary to quantify Tableau server performance and forecast future capacity needs • Write and run Python/PowerShell/Bash scripts for automation, maintenance activities, especially for Tableau Server • Create/Manage Sites, Folders, Sub-folders, Groups, Workbooks and Projects, Database Views, Data Sources, and Data Connections • Work closely with architects, cloud engineers to ensure optimal functioning of the application • Collaborate with Engineering teams to discovery and leverage new data being introduced into the environment • Create and maintain report specifications and process documentations as part of the required data deliverables.• Serve as liaison with business and technical teams to achieve project objectives, delivering cross functional reporting solutions. • Communicating with business partners, other technical teams and management to collect requirements, articulate data deliverables, and provide technical designs. • Ability to multitask and prioritize an evolving workload in a fast pace environment.
