Data Science Expert Hourly Contract | Part-time Remote | $80 –$120 per hour About the Role A leading AI research initiative is recruiting experienced Data Science professionals to support high-impact collaborations with top AI labs. In this role, you will help improve AI systems through code validation, prompt refinement, algorithmic evaluation, and model benchmarking — applying your data expertise to shape the next generation of intelligent systems. Key Responsibilities • Review and refine AI-generated prompts, responses, and code. • Validate concepts for technical accuracy. • Provide structured feedback on solution quality and clarity. • Tag and organize content by topic and difficulty. • Support benchmarking efforts to assess model performance and capabilities. Ideal Qualifications • 3+ years of experience in data science, machine learning, or applied statistics (industry or research). • Degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, or related quantitative field (Bachelor’s minimum; advanced degree preferred). • Strong proficiency in Python and SQL; familiarity with R, Java, or Scala is a plus. • Hands-on experience building and deploying ML models with scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch. • Skilled in statistical analysis, data wrangling, and feature engineering on large datasets. Project Details • Start Date: Immediate. • Duration: 1–2 months. • Commitment: Part-time, 15–25 hours/week (flexibility up to 40 hours/week). • Schedule: Fully remote & asynchronous — flexible working hours.
