Data Scientist - Remote France or Belgium (F/M)
We are looking for a Data Scientist (F/M) for Sartorius Data Analytics located in France or Belgium.Sartorius Data Analytics, a market leader in advanced analytics and provider of Umetrics Suite of Data Analytics Solutions, is on a strong growth path driving new innovative solutions in the field. There is currently an unique opportunity for a Data Scientist to support the Sartorius sales teams and drive customer applications.In this key role you will have a strong customer focus to help secure innovation and growth. Combining your experience in the Biopharma or Pharma industry with knowledge of applied statistics such as MVDA, DOE, MSPC, PAT, QbD, Model Predictive Control (MPC), AI/Machine learning.This position is based in Europe. You will be home based, with regular travel (about 30%).What you will accomplish together with us:Working in a global team of data scientist who are subject matter experts in Data Analytics applications within Biopharma.Assisting customers in solving business related problems using advanced data analyticsSupporting implementation of advanced analytics in industrySupporting Sartorius sales teams as a subject matter expert in pre and post sales activitiesAct as subject matter expert point of contact and support customer and Sartorius internal projectsAnalyzing data and building data driven models using Umetrics software suiteCoordinate work with colleagues in other regions for accounts with a global presenceTraining customers on the use of SIMCAĀ® , MODDEĀ®, SIMCA-Ā®online, UmetricsĀ® StudioMaintaining contact with customers to secure project momentum and discover additional opportunitiesCreating technical documents, application notes and reportsReport back feedback on software to support development of next generation toolsAttending and presenting at conferences, seminars and forumsDeveloping & cultivating strong relationships with external and internal stakeholdersWhat will convince us:Masters or PhD degree in a relevant field (engineering, life sciences, informatics, etc.)2+ yearsā work experience within Biopharma or Pharma2+ yearsā working knowledge of applied statistics such as MVDA, DOE, MSPC, PAT, QbD, Model Predictive Control (MPC), AI/Machine learning, ideally in a Manufacturing / GMP environmentAble to work in English and ideally one other European language (French preferred)We Value:Excellent communications skills, strong presentation skills preferredComfortable working independentlyWorking knowledge of Umetrics Suite of Data Analytics Solutions (MODDE, SIMCA, SIMCA-online, etc.) a plusWorking knowledge of Python and/or other scripting a plusWorking knowledge of data historians, manufacturing data and development data optionalTeaching, consulting and project management experience a plusComfortable working from home office, willingness to travel (~30%)Identification with our core values: Sustainability, Openness, EnjoymentAbout Sartorius Sartorius is part of the solution in the fight against cancer, dementia, and many other diseases.
