About The Role: Our product offers insights on E-commerce companies and is growing rapidly. We are seeking a Senior Data QA Lead to join our team in India to oversee data cleaning and quality assurance processes while managing and mentoring a team of Data QA Associates. As a Data QA Lead, you will be responsible for ensuring that receipt data is transformed into accurate and actionable business expense insights. You will work closely with a top-notch engineering and data team from the U.S, India and China, taking ownership of workflows, team performance, and data quality outcomes. This is a high-impact role that combines hands-on expertise with leadership responsibility. Exceptional performance in this role can open further opportunities for strategic leadership within the company. This is a fully remote role based in India. Working hours: 8 am – 5 pm IST Some overlap with Chinese or U.S. work hours is expected. More details will be shared during the recruiting process. We expect hires to start in the position as soon as possible, and no later than December 29, 2025. As our Data QA Lead, you will: Lead & Mentor: Inspire, coach, and empower a team of Data QA Associates by setting clear goals, guiding their growth, and fostering accountability to achieve exceptional results. Quality Leadership: Champion the design, oversight, and continuous enhancement of data quality assurance processes to deliver accuracy, consistency, and reliability at scale. Workflow Ownership: Drive best practices in data cleaning, creating efficient, scalable workflows while maintaining the highest quality standards. Cross-team Collaboration: Serve as a trusted bridge between India, China, and U.S. teams, cultivating strong partnerships and ensuring shared alignment on quality goals. Continuous Improvement: Inspire innovation by developing new QA methodologies, introducing automation where valuable, and refining existing processes to support growth. Client Partnership: Build confidence with analysts and clients by providing timely, thoughtful, and impactful responses to inquiries and insights. You Are Likely To Succeed If you have: Bachelor’s degree or above. Majors in Computer Science, Statistics, Business Analytics, or related fields preferred. Experience: 3-5 years of experience in data quality assurance, analytics, or IT related fields At least 1-2 years of people management experience. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. Proven experience with data tagging, data analytics, quality assurance or IT related working experience. Familiarity with Excel, SQL, or Python for data analysis and process automation. Experience managing multiple processes in parallel under tight deadlines. Strong team management, coaching, and performance evaluation skills. Ability to set priorities, delegate effectively, and build accountability within the team. Exceptional attention to detail, problem-solving, and critical thinking abilities. Ability to coordinate effectively across time zones and cultures.
