Data Protection Specialist

Conduct regular audits and risk assessments to identify potential vulnerabilities and recommend corrective actions. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure that data protection practices are integrated into all business processes. Serve as the primary point of contact for all data protection inquiries and incidents. Monitor data protection systems and procedures to identify and respond to potential breaches. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and changes in data protection laws and regulations. Train employees on data protection policies and procedures. Conduct regular data protection trainings and workshops to increase awareness and compliance. Develop and maintain relationships with external stakeholders, such as regulatory agencies and industry partners. Act as a liaison between the company and clients to address any data protection concerns or issues. Analyze and report on data protection metrics and provide recommendations for improvement. Collaborate with the legal team to ensure that all data protection practices are in line with contractual requirements. Participate in data protection impact assessments for new projects and initiatives. Investigate and respond to data subject access requests and other data protection-related inquiries.
