Location: RemoteDuration: 6 months Duties:Lead the design and implementation of enterprise data modernization and transformation initiativesArchitect scalable, resilient, and secure data platforms across cloud and hybrid environmentsCollaborate with technical leads, DBAs, and developers to deliver large-scale data migration solutionsDesign and execute ETL/ELT processes across heterogeneous data sources and platformsDrive like-for-like and transformative data migrations (e.g., Oracle to PostgreSQL, Oracle to SQL Server as a Service, relational to NoSQL, Data Warehouse to Data Lake)Develop data architecture strategies including data modeling, governance, and lifecycle managementTranslate business requirements into technical specifications and solution architecturesBuild prototypes and proof-of-concepts to validate architecture approaches and technologiesDesign and implement RESTful APIs, integration frameworks, and middleware solutionsEnsure high availability, fault tolerance, and performance optimization of data systemsUtilize cloud-native services and modern DevOps practices to enable continuous deliverySupport Agile development teams and provide architectural guidance throughout the SDLCSkills:Architecture Design: Ability to design end-to-end scalable, resilient, and secure system architectures (monolithic, microservices, event-driven)Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), APIs, databases (SQL/NoSQL), messaging systems, and integration patternsIntegration & APIs: Experience designing RESTful APIs, system integrations, and middleware solutionsData Architecture: Strong understanding of data modeling, data warehousing, and distributed data systemsDevOps & CI/CD: Familiarity with containers, Kubernetes, infrastructure as code, and deployment pipelinesETL & Data Transformation: Hands-on experience with tools such as IBM InfoSphere DataStage, Informatica PowerCenter, Microsoft SSIS, Oracle Data IntegratorDatabase Technologies: Experience with RDBMS (Oracle, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, Amazon RDS) and NoSQL systemsData Formats & Programming: Proficiency with XML, JSON, and scripting languages such as PythonData Platforms: Experience with Data Lake architectures and modern data ecosystemsNice to Have:Healthcare domain knowledgeExperience:8+ years of experience in data architecture, data engineering, or enterprise application architectureProven track record leading large-scale data migration and modernization initiativesExperience working with cloud-based data platforms and distributed systemsStrong experience with ETL/ELT design, data integration, and transformation processesExperience working in Agile/Scrum environmentsEducation:Bachelorâs degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experienceMasterâs degree preferredExcellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
