What you'll be doing
The Data & Analytics team is part of the Verizon Global Services (VGS) organization. As part of the Data & Analytics team, you will be helping to create and deliver comprehensive tracking and measurement of Verizons digital channel. In this role, you will develop and implement advanced reports and dashboard solutions to support business objectives. You will analyze data and clearly communicate findings and collaborate with stakeholders and interact with cross functional teams to bring new experiences to life for our customers. The successful candidate will help lead measurement implementations across cross-functional teams as they plan, build and launch world-class experiences. You will help translate raw data into actionable insights and better experiences for our customers. Your deep knowledge of measurement solutions will help to determine the best approaches for implementations that best meet business needs.
Responsibilities include:
Extracting data points based on requirements while working with Development and Operations Teams to fulfill product reporting from launch.
Leading the development and implementation of advanced reports and dashboard solutions to support business objectives.
Analyzing data and clearly communicates findings to stakeholders.
Collaborating with stakeholders on reports and dashboards.
What we're looking for
You are good with numbers and you love to dig into data to find the story. Crafting reports and dashboards is a fun afternoon for you. Youre able to translate numbers into compelling stories-and tailor your presentation and recommendations to the audiences function and level to meet their needs. You are detail-oriented and know how to be passionate about what really matters. You have a knack for understanding and visualizing data and providing practical insights that are easily digestible. You enjoy aligning various work streams to ensure the same vision and goal is achieved.
You'll need to have:
Bachelors degree in Math, Statistics, Physics, Engineering, Computer Science, Business Analytics, a related field or four or more years work experience.
Four or more years of relevant work experience.
Experience with Adobe Analytics or related platform (ex. Google Analytics), or experience with tagging implementation.
Experience writing SQL queries and scripts using relational databases like Teradata, Oracle, SQL Server and pulling data from Hadoop/HIVE SQL/EDW data warehouses.
Data visualization skills and hands-on experience using Tableau, Qlik, Looker or other similar visualization tools.
Experience working in e-commerce data setting.
Even better if you have one or more of the following:
Experience developing general reporting, KPIs, metrics, and attributes.
Strong verbal and written communication and storytelling skills.
Strong problem solving, analytical, and research capabilities.
Experience managing time-bound project deliverables for multiple stakeholders.
Coding experience (e.g., Python, Java, C/C++).
