Job description: LabCorp is seeking a Data Entry/ Specimen Processor to join our team in Seattle, WA. This role works in a high volume, fast paced production-based environment performing a vital component of clinical lab science. Clerical Data entry experience and customer service skills are necessary. Schedule: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday Friday 5pm-3:30am Location: th Ave. Seattle, WA 98122 Job Duties/Responsibilities: Responsible for effectively triaging and accessioning large volumes of multiple specimen types to meet robust turnaround requirements. Provides front line phone customer service to hospital and clinic staff. Receive and sort clinical lab specimens Prepare specimens for testing and analysis Scan and/or data entry of specimen and patient information Ensure all lab equipment is working properly and perform minor instrumentation maintenance Troubleshoot any specimen related issues Replenish test bench supplies as needed Maintain a clean and safe work environment Complete record logs and other administrative duties as requested Follow all Standard Operating Procedures to ensure safety and quality standards Job Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent required, some college science helpful. Good communication skills. A willingness to work in fast paced, high volume laboratory. Data entry skills are necessary. Experience working in the Accessioning department preferred.
