Job Description

We are currently seeking a meticulous and highly organized Data Entry Clerk to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for accurately inputting, updating, and maintaining critical data in our internal systems and databases. This role requires exceptional attention to detail, the ability to work with high volumes of information, and a commitment to maintaining data integrity. The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent time management skills and the ability to handle repetitive tasks while ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.

Key Responsibilities:
• Input and update data into company databases, spreadsheets, and other internal systems in a timely and accurate manner.
• Perform regular data quality checks to identify discrepancies, ensuring all records are accurate and up-to-date.
• Review, verify, and correct data entries to maintain high standards of data integrity.
• Generate and prepare reports, summaries, and spreadsheets based on entered data as required by management or other departments.
• Assist in organizing both digital and physical records, maintaining an efficient data storage system.
• Ensure compliance with all data privacy regulations and internal confidentiality standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather, process, and manage data-related tasks.
• Provide support for any ad-hoc administrative duties or special projects as assigned.

Key Requirements:
• Proven experience in a data entry or administrative role, with a strong focus on data accuracy and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.) and/or other data management tools.
• Exceptional typing speed with a high degree of accuracy.
• Ability to maintain concentration and manage repetitive tasks with diligence.
• Strong organizational skills and an ability to handle multiple priorities effectively.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a professional approach to interacting with team members and management.
• A high level of integrity and the ability to handle sensitive or confidential information with discretion.

Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent required. Additional certifications or a degree in business administration or a related field is a plus.
• Prior experience with data management or similar administrative duties is preferred.
• Familiarity with data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA) and company policies regarding data security is an asset.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot data discrepancies or system errors.

Duties:
• Input, update, and maintain data in various databases and software systems.
• Perform routine quality control checks and validate data entries for accuracy.
• Prepare reports and data summaries to be shared with management or other departments.
• Respond to inquiries related to data entry, ensuring timely and accurate resolution of issues.
• Assist with organizing and maintaining both digital and physical filing systems.
• Provide data-related support to other departments and teams as needed.
