As a Data Entry Support Specialist, you will play a vital role in managing the Bureau of Parks & Conservation's GIS, producing maps, and contributing to innovative GIS projects. You will collaborate with Tennessee State Parks staff and various divisions to drive data-driven decisions, ensuring that your work has a direct impact on the success of our clients.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and maintain the Bureau of Parks & Conservation's GIS, ensuring data accuracy and integrity
Produce high-quality maps and visualizations to support data-driven decision-making
Collaborate with Tennessee State Parks staff and various divisions to understand their needs and develop solutions
Contribute to innovative GIS projects, leveraging your skills and expertise to drive success
Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and problem-solving
Perform data entry tasks with high accuracy and efficiency, meeting deadlines and productivity standards
Assist in the development and implementation of data management processes and procedures
Essential Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Geography, Earth Science, or a related field
2 years of relevant experience in data entry, GIS, or a related field
