Data Entry Support Intern

Apprenticely is working with our company partner, EmployWell to add an Data Management Intern to their operations team in Fayetteville, Arkansas!
Our Apprenticely Internship Program is a three-month program that places selected candidates with employers across Arkansas in roles designed to provide hands-on experience under the guidance of a professional mentor and support team. These internships serve as a stepping stone to launch a successful career and may transition into full-time positions based on employer needs.

About our Company Partner: EmployWell is transforming the patient-provider-payer relationship in specialty care with connected workflows. Our platform combines clinical and payer insights to get patients into treatment faster and help clinics not leave money on the table. What You'll Do...
• Input data and make changes to data in digital databases.
• Create spreadsheets to track important client information.
• Transfer data from hard copy to a digital database.
• Update client information in a database.
• Organize existing data in a spreadsheet.
• Verify outdated data and make any necessary changes to records.
• Search for and investigate information contained in files.
• Perform regular database backups to secure data.
• Input text-based and numerical information from source documents.
• Provide occasional administrative support.
• Sort and organize hard copies of paperwork after entering data electronically.
• Review data for deficiencies or errors.
• Assist with special projects that require large amounts of data entry.
• Provide data entry support across departments on an ad-hoc basis.
• Type in data quickly and efficiently.
• Collaborate with a mentor or team to complete data entry tasks.
• Learn and apply data entry best practices, including troubleshooting techniques.
• Gain hands-on experience with databases and spreadsheets.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to achieving project goals.
Preferred Qualities:
• Currently pursuing or recently obtained Bachelor’s Degree in Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent learning experience).
• Foundational knowledge of spreadsheets, Excel, Google Sheets, basic data entry and management.
• Familiarity with a variety of databases.
• Strongly developed organizational skills.
• Computer skills: Microsoft Office and Google-based programs.
• Customer service: Ability to clearly and efficiently communicate and retrieve important information to update records.
• Project management: Managing multiple projects at one time and the ability to maintain accuracy
Details
• Pay: +$15/hour
• Schedule: 40-hour week: typically 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. Monday-Friday
• Length of Internship: 3 months
• Location: Hybrid - Start-Up Village in Fayetteville, AR
$15 - $15 an hour
How does the interview process work? Apprenticely will conduct an initial phone interview and assessment. Apprenticely will send selected resumes to companies that match the candidate’s skills and interests. Our employer partners will decide who to interview and select the final candidates for the internship program.
