As a Data Entry Specialist/Clerk, you will play a critical role in supporting our Manufacturing teams, ensuring the accurate and efficient processing of production orders, and maintaining the integrity of our inventory management systems. This is a remote opportunity that allows you to work from anywhere in the United States, providing the flexibility and work-life balance that many professionals seek. Key Responsibilities Production Order Processing and Label Creation: Assist in completing production orders and creating labels for Quality Control (QC) samples and bulk materials, ensuring that all products are accurately identified and tracked throughout the manufacturing process. Batch Record Management: Prefill, review, verify, and scan/attach batch records into our Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system, maintaining the highest standards of data accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements. Inventory Management Support: Collaborate with inventory controllers to identify and maintain accurate Bin locations for purified and conjugated bulks, ensuring that our inventory management systems are up-to-date and reliable. Supporting Planning Teams: Assist the Planning teams in resubmitting re-test samples, contributing to the efficient management of our production processes. Compliance with ISO Requirements: Perform job duties in accordance with ISO requirements, adhering to "line of clearance" rules and following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) or work instructions to ensure compliance and quality. Adaptability and Flexibility: Take on other projects or responsibilities as required, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to adapt to changing priorities and needs. Essential Qualifications and Skills To succeed in this role, you will need: A High school diploma combined with 6 months of data entry experience, or a Biotech Certificate/Associate's degree in a science or related field, providing a solid foundation in data management and potentially some familiarity with manufacturing processes. Strong competency with Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel, to efficiently manage and process data. Preferred Qualifications and Skills While not mandatory, the following qualifications and skills are highly desirable: Prior hands-on experience with Microsoft Navision System (NAV) or other ERP systems, which would enable you to hit the ground running and make an immediate impact. Laboratory experience, which can provide valuable insight into manufacturing processes and enhance your ability to support our teams effectively. A basic understanding of manufacturing processes and familiarity with ERP systems, demonstrating your potential to quickly adapt and grow within the role.
