Job Title: Data Entry SpecialistDepartment: Information TechnologyReports To: IT ManagerSummary:The Data Entry Specialist is responsible for entering data into computer systems and databases. This includes collecting, scanning, and digitizing data from a variety of sources, such as paper documents, spreadsheets, and images. The Data Entry Specialist must be accurate and efficient, and must be able to work independently and as part of a team.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Enter data into computer systems and databasesCollect, scan, and digitize data from a variety of sourcesMaintain detailed and organized records of data entriesVerify the accuracy of data entriesResolve data entry errorsWork independently and as part of a teamMeet deadlinesFollow all company policies and proceduresQualifications:High school diploma or equivalent1-2 years of experience in data entryExcellent typing skills (minimum 60 wpm)Attention to detailAbility to work independently and as part of a teamStrong organizational skillsAbility to meet deadlinesProficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)Physical Demands:The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
