Enter, update, and maintain large volumes of medical and billing data into the company's database systems.
Cross-reference and verify data to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies promptly.
Generate reports and summaries from databases for management and operational use.
Work closely with other team members to streamline data entry processes and ensure compliance with company protocols and HIPAA regulations.
Conduct regular data quality audits to identify and correct errors or inconsistencies.
Maintain organized digital files to ensure quick access for review, audits, or updates.
Requirements:
2+ years of data entry experience, preferably in a healthcare or administrative environment.
Excellent typing and data entry accuracy (minimum of 50 WPM strongly preferred).
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Word and Excel, and experience with data management systems.
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with acute attention to detail.
Familiarity with HIPAA compliance and confidentiality practices preferred.
Ability to work independently in meeting deadlines while adhering to organizational standards.
Expected salary: $21.5 - 25.5 per hour
