We're now seeking a skilled Data Entry Specialist to join our remote team on a contract basis. About the Role: Data Entry Specialist for Joint Pole Inventory Management This entry-level data entry and data-management position is crucial in supporting a telecommunications company in its joint pole inventory management process. As a Data Entry Specialist, you will play a key role in managing pole data between the telecommunications company, third-party attachers, and power companies. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure accurate and efficient data management, escalating any discrepancies to the client or engineer as needed. Key Responsibilities Manage and maintain accurate pole data, ensuring seamless communication between the telecommunications company, third-party attachers, and power companies. Input data accurately and efficiently into designated databases, such as NJUNS, ALDEN ONE, or SPANS. Search for and retrieve information within databases to support data management and verification processes. Escalate data discrepancies and issues to the client or engineer in a timely and professional manner. Assist team leadership in tracking data pertinent to the joint pole inventory management process. Utilize Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and Outlook, to perform tasks and manage data. Demonstrate strong personal time management and organization skills to meet productivity and quality standards. Essential Qualifications Proficiency in Microsoft Windows XP, Excel, Word, and Outlook. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Strong personal time management and organization skills. Ability to input data accurately and efficiently. Experience working with databases and retrieving information. Preferred Qualifications Familiarity with NJUNS, ALDEN ONE, or SPANS databases. Previous experience in data entry or a related administrative role. Knowledge of telecommunications industry practices and terminology.
