Some have reported they are being asked to contact them using Whatsapp to pay for computer equipment and background checks.What steps should you take if you suspect you've received a fraudulent text?

Data Entry Clerk Details:
Contract to Hire position
$25.00 /hour
First Shift (Monday through Friday from 08:00am to 05:00pm)
Accurately input, update, and verify data in databases and information systems
Review data for errors or inconsistencies and resolve discrepancies efficiently
Maintain data integrity by following company policies and data entry procedures
Perform regular data audits and generate reports as needed
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely and correct information flow
Respond to data requests and provide support in pulling or organizing reports
Meet daily/weekly productivity and accuracy goals
Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive data responsibly
Assist in process documentation and suggest improvements for data entry workflows
Data Entry Clerk Qualifications:
1–3 years of experience in data entry or a similar administrative role
High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree preferred
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel) and database systems
Strong keyboarding skills (minimum 50 WPM with high accuracy) Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
Familiarity with CRM or ERP systems is a plus
Applicant may be subject to a background check
Pre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment
