Job description: We are looking to hire 3 People a month to become a Customers Service Representative, to work with outside agents and agencies, to transfer data from database from to database. The ideal candidate will be computer savvy and an accurate typist with a keen eye for detail. Preferred not required. We will train you. You will report to your building manager or another senior manager at Continental Insurance. Understanding of data confidentiality principles is imperative. Again we are hiring! Responsibilities: • Transfer data from paper formats into computer files or database systems using keyboards, or data recorders. • Type in data provided directly from customer/agency. • Create spreadsheets with large numbers of figures without mistakes. • Verify data by comparing it to source documents. • Update existing data. • Retrieve data from the database or electronic files as requested. • Perform regular backups to ensure data preservation. • Sort and organize paperwork after entering data to ensure it is not lost. Requirements: • Proven experience as data entry clerk. • Great attention to detail. • Excellent knowledge of word processing tools and spreadsheets (MS Office Word, Excel etc.). • Working knowledge of office equipment and computer hardware. • Basic understanding of databases. • Good command of English both oral and written and customer service skills. • High school degree or equivalent. • Bilingual Spanish speakers is strongly preferred (Not Required).
