Position Overview
The Data Entry Clerk at arenaflex plays a critical role in maintaining the integrity of our information systems. You will be responsible for accurately transferring data from a variety of sources—customer forms, scanned documents, electronic files—into our enterprise database. Your work ensures that the sales, production, and logistics teams have reliable data to make informed decisions, meet delivery schedules, and uphold the high standards of our products.

Core Responsibilities

Utilize keyboards, optical scanners, and other office equipment to enter data quickly and accurately into arenaflex’s centralized database system.
Collect information directly from customers via phone, email, or in‑person interactions and promptly record it in the appropriate fields.
Create, format, and maintain detailed spreadsheets in Microsoft Excel, incorporating formulas, conditional formatting, and data validation to streamline reporting.
Verify the accuracy of entered data by cross‑checking with original documents, invoices, and purchase orders, correcting any discrepancies immediately.
Generate routine and ad‑hoc reports for management, sales, and production teams, ensuring that data is presented clearly and concisely.
Perform regular backups of database files and spreadsheets to prevent data loss, following arenaflex’s data‑security protocols.
Organize and file original documents—both physical and digital—in a systematic manner that supports easy retrieval and audit compliance.
Assist with other administrative tasks such as drafting correspondence, preparing presentations, and supporting the office’s daily operations.

Essential Qualifications

High school diploma or GED; additional education in business administration or information technology is a plus.
Demonstrated experience as a Data Entry Clerk, Office Administrator, or in a comparable role, preferably within a manufacturing or wholesale environment.
Typing speed of at least 45 words per minute with a minimum 98% accuracy rate, verified through practical assessment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel, including the ability to create pivot tables, use VLOOKUP/HLOOKUP, and apply basic data‑analysis functions.
Fundamental understanding of relational databases, data entry software, and data‑validation techniques.
