About the Role As a Data Entry Clerk at Ola's Exotic African Coffee and Tea, you will play a vital role in maintaining the accuracy and timeliness of our databases. You will liaise with employees and customers to collect information, capture data into relevant databases, and identify and correct errors. Key Responsibilities: Data Collection and Entry: Collect information from employees and customers, and capture data into relevant databases in a timely and accurate manner. Error Identification and Correction: Identify and correct errors, and swiftly bring them to the attention of relevant parties where necessary. Data Entry in EMR: Perform data entry in Electronic Medical Records (EMR) and other software applications. Administrative Support: Provide entry-level administrative support to the data entry function, including preparing information for data entry, performing clerical functions, and maintaining data entry requirements. High-Volume Data Entry: Perform high-volume data entry work, including data entry of new applications, credits, and other relevant information. Data Verification and Audits: Review and verify data prior to entry, and perform daily audits and data entry corrections. Communication and Collaboration: Liaise with employees and customers to collect information, and work with dealers to ensure data entry is accurate and complete. Training and Development: Train new data entry employees on computer systems and software applications. Requirements and Qualifications Essential Qualifications: Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred. Technical Skills: Proficiency in computer software applications, including Microsoft Office and Google Suite; experience with EMR and data entry software. Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to liaise with employees and customers. Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to identify and correct errors. Organizational Skills: Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines. Preferred Qualifications: Experience: Previous experience in data entry, administrative support, or a related field. Technical Skills: Experience with database management, data analysis, and reporting. Language Skills: Proficiency in multiple languages, with the ability to communicate with diverse stakeholders.
