Data Entry Associate - Clinical Lab Operations

Invitae, part of Labcorp, is seeking a Data Entry Associate to join its team! Our Data Processing team plays an integral part in both the laboratory and customer support phases. In this role, you will be responsible for both pre-accessioning and post-accessioning workflows including accurate specimen verification and order information entry, while working collaboratively with internal teams to maintain compliance, meet service-level agreements, and uphold the highest standards for accuracy. Data Processing team members contribute to a culture in which we encourage honest and open communication and value constructive feedback. Our team members work with a sense of urgency and a goal of putting patients first and the team above the individual.The schedule for this position will be: Tuesday-Saturday 8am-5pm pacific time zone. During training, for the first few months, the schedule will be Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm PST. Please note: this is a remote based position, and candidates can be located anywhere in the US. However, they must be able to work Pacific Time Zone hours.Job Responsibilities: Perform Pre-Accessioning Order Processing activities as directed by team lead including but not limited to:Patient creationOrder creationTask creation for customer support teams (kit requests, missing information)Meet established SLAs and OKRsPost-accessioning Order Processing activities as directed by team lead including but not limited to:Data Entry of order information into Invitae systemsQuality control of previously entered information into Invitae systemsTask creation for customer support teams (kit requests, missing information)Communication with our Accessioning and Client Services teams as neededMeet established SLAs and OKRsAdditional Responsibilities as directed by your team lead:Report maintenanceCompliance activitiesTeam meetings and trainingJob Requirements: High School Diploma or equivalent Previous experience in healthcare, science, data processing, or related field preferred Some college education in science or related field preferredStrong data entry and typing skills Experience working in a team environment High level of attention to detail Proficiency in MS Office Experience using platforms including Salesforce and JIRA preferred Passion for patient care is a plus!
