About the Role: Data Entry Assistant

As a Data Entry Assistant at arenaflex, you will play a critical role in maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our client information systems. Your meticulous attention to detail and organizational skills will ensure that our database remains current, reliable, and ready to support the vital work we do serving Broward County's youth. This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop expertise in data management while contributing to a meaningful cause.

Key Responsibilities

Your primary responsibilities as a Data Entry Assistant will include, but are not limited to:


Database Management: Accurately input, update, and maintain client information in our database systems, ensuring all data is entered correctly and in a timely manner
Spreadsheet Development: Create and manage spreadsheets to track important client information, service orders, program metrics, and other critical data points
Data Processing: Efficiently input text-based and numerical information from various sources, including paper forms, digital documents, and external databases
Information Verification: Review entered data for deficiencies, errors, or inconsistencies, and make necessary corrections to maintain data integrity
Client Communication: Provide basic and accurate information to clients in-person, via phone, and through email, serving as a friendly and knowledgeable point of contact
Administrative Support: Assist with various administrative duties as required, including filing, document preparation, and office coordination tasks
Quality Assurance: Perform regular quality checks on data entries to ensure accuracy and completeness
Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to enhance data entry processes and contribute to operational efficiency
Team Collaboration: Work closely with other team members and departments to ensure seamless information flow
Other Duties: Perform other related duties as assigned by management to support organizational goals

Essential Qualifications


Education: High school diploma, GED, or suitable equivalent required
Experience: One or more years of work experience in a data entry or similar administrative role preferred
Technical Proficiency: Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Word
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with clients and colleagues
Organizational Abilities: Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively
Time Management: Punctuality and reliability are essential – you must be able to manage your time effectively and meet deadlines
Attention to Detail: Exceptional attention to detail to ensure accuracy in all data entry tasks
Focus & Concentration: Ability to stay focused on assigned tasks while maintaining productivity throughout the workday
Typing Speed: Ability to type quickly and efficiently, with a focus on accuracy over speed
Multitasking: Capability to handle multiple responsibilities simultaneously while maintaining quality work


Preferred Skills & Competencies


Previous experience in nonprofit or social services organizations
Familiarity with database management systems
