Legacy Food Group is seeking a skilled Data Engineer to join our team and help drive data-driven decision making across the company. As a Data Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining the data architecture that supports our business insights and analytics. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and reliable data flow within the organization. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable data pipelines for ingestion, transformation, and integration of large datasets. Collaborate with stakeholders and decicion makers to optimize data delivery and support advanced analytics needs. Ensure data quality, integrity, and security across all data systems. Implement and manage data storage solutions including data warehouses and data lakes. Monitor and troubleshoot data infrastructure to resolve any issues promptly. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field. Proven experience as a Data Engineer or similar role, preferably in the food production or distribution industry. Strong proficiency in SQL and experience with ETL tools and technologies. Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud is highly preferred. Knowledge of big data technologies like Hadoop, Spark, or Kafka. Familiarity with data warehousing solutions such as Redshift, Snowflake, or similar. Strong programming skills in Python, Java, or Scala. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work collaboratively in a team and communicate technical concepts effectively.
