Job Title: Data Engineer - Informatica + Google Cloud Platform Location: Remote Start Date: ASAP Duration: 12 Months Contract Job Overview We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud (Google Cloud Platform) Developer with Informatica expertise to join our data engineering team. This role will focus on developing and maintaining Informatica integrations with Google Cloud services, enabling scalable and high-performance data pipelines. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Informatica (IICS/PowerCenter), Google Cloud Platform (BigQuery, GCS), and orchestration frameworks. Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain Informatica mappings, workflows, and parameter files. Configure and manage Informatica IICS/PowerCenter integrations with Google Cloud Storage (GCS) and BigQuery. Manage and optimize Secure Agents for cloud connectivity. Implement pushdown optimization and performance tuning for large-scale data pipelines. Build reusable transformations and standardized error-handling frameworks. Schedule and orchestrate workflows using Google Composer (Airflow), including retries and dependencies. Implement data quality checks and reconciliation processes to ensure accuracy and consistency. Collaborate with data engineers, cloud architects, and business teams to deliver high-quality data solutions. Required Skills & Experience 5 8 years of experience in Informatica development (IICS/PowerCenter). Strong expertise with Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform), especially BigQuery and Cloud Storage. Hands-on experience configuring Secure Agents for cloud integrations. Strong knowledge of pushdown optimization and performance tuning techniques. Experience with workflow scheduling/orchestration tools (Composer, Airflow, Control-M, etc.). Solid understanding of ETL best practices, data quality, and reconciliation methods. Proficiency in SQL and performance analysis for large datasets. Preferred Skills Experience with Python or scripting for automation. Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines for Informatica deployments. Familiarity with data governance and metadata management. Google Cloud Platform certification (Data Engineer, Cloud Architect) is a plus.
