Design and develop data platforms to support client data needs.
Maintain and improve existing data platforms to ensure optimal performance.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand client requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
Conduct data analysis to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions to enhance data processing and storage capabilities.
Stay updated on the latest data engineering trends and technologies to continuously improve our data platforms.
Communicate effectively with clients and team members to gather feedback and troubleshoot issues.
Develop and maintain technical documentation for data platforms, processes, and procedures.
Identify and address potential data security risks and implement appropriate measures to ensure data integrity and confidentiality.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior data engineers.
Proactively identify and propose innovative solutions to improve efficiency and effectiveness of data platforms.
Collaborate with other departments to integrate data platforms with other systems and tools.
Adhere to company policies and procedures, including data governance and compliance regulations.
Act as a representative of IBM and maintain a professional and positive image while interacting with clients and stakeholders.
Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas for process improvements and overall team success.
Take ownership of assigned projects and ensure timely and high-quality delivery.
