Join arenaflex as a Data Center Operations Technician

Are you ready to be part of something extraordinary? At arenaflex, we don't just build technology—we build the future. Our Technical Infrastructure team is the backbone of everything our customers experience online, and we're looking for a talented Data Center Operations Technician to help us maintain and advance the cutting-edge systems that power our global operations.

If you're passionate about hardware, thrive in a dynamic technical environment, and want to work with state-of-the-art infrastructure, this is your opportunity to join a team of world-class engineers and technicians who are solving complex challenges every day. At arenaflex, we believe in pushing boundaries, voiding warranties by taking things apart to rebuild them better, and keeping our networks running at peak performance.

About the Role

As a Data Center Operations Technician at arenaflex, you'll play a critical role in maintaining the physical infrastructure that powers our powerful search technology and cloud services. This isn't your typical desk job—you'll be actively engaged in installing, configuring, testing, troubleshooting, and maintaining server hardware and server software across our data center facilities.

Your typical day will involve hands-on work with servers and their components, configuration of complex networking equipment including routers, hubs, bridges, switches, and implementation of networking protocols. You'll participate in or lead small project teams focused on large-scale installations and develop contingency plans to ensure business continuity. While the role can be physically demanding—manually moving and installing racks—you'll be working with infrastructure at the forefront of computer technology.

This position offers a hybrid work model with remote work possibilities, giving you the flexibility to balance your career with your personal life. You'll have the opportunity to work with cutting-edge hardware and software, collaborate with talented professionals, and grow your career in one of the most dynamic technical environments in the industry.

Linux System Administration: Configure and troubleshoot Linux operating system-related issues on servers. Maintain and optimize server performance while ensuring system security and stability.

Network Infrastructure Management: Deploy and maintain advanced data center server and network infrastructure. Configure networking equipment including routers, switches, and hubs while implementing proper networking protocols.

Project Leadership: Participate in or lead small project teams on large installations. Develop project contingency plans and ensure successful completion of infrastructure upgrades and deployments.

Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams including engineering, network operations, and facilities to overcome challenges and ensure seamless operations.
