Description
The RoleAre you a proactive System Administrator with deep technical expertise? Do you thrive in environments where you're empowering teams, managing critical systems, and ensuring secure, efficient file and server operations? If so, we’d love to have you join our team as a Senior System Administrator!In this role, you’ll support both internal and external infrastructure environments. You’ll assist with supporting a technical services team, oversee complex systems, and ensure secure, high-performing operations that support community banks across the country.

What You'll DoKey responsibilities include:System Administration & Support:Provide support and maintenance for a large Windows Server environment.Manage secure file movements using IBM MQ, FTP, SFTP, FTPS, and related technologies.Ensure secure deployment and management of customized web applications.Provide installation, monitoring, and support for new and existing infrastructure for both DCI and clients.Document and maintain system processes, configurations, and procedures.Coordinate with cross-functional teams on technical requirements and support escalations.Track all work performed using NetSuite or other case tracking systems.Provide after-hours support as required.Security, Patch Management & Infrastructure Reliability:Ensure timely and secure patching of all systems under BITS management.Maintain encryption best practices for file and web-based application security.Support business continuity plans and ensure environments are audit-ready. What We're Looking ForTo be considered for this role, you'll need the following required qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field—or equivalent work experience.Minimum of 5 years’ experience in systems administration or technical support roles.Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server OS and Active Directory.Experience with Microsoft SQL Server, and virtualization technologies.Strong understanding of network storage, scripting languages, and data communications.Familiarity with secure file transfer technologies.Regular and reliable attendance is required. What Will Help You Stand Out:Experience supporting enterprise IT environments in banking or fintech settings.Deep expertise in server performance tuning, troubleshooting, and configuration.Familiarity with DCI software systems and client implementation processes.Banking experience is preferred for all our positions. A Day in the LifeYou’ll start the day identifying project priorities and case review. Mid-morning, you might coordinate an application patch, troubleshoot a file transfer issue, or update documentation for an infrastructure process. After lunch, you review hardware performance reports, assist with server deployment, and mentor a junior team member on scripting standards. Before you wrap up, you confirm overnight monitoring schedules and ensure system reliability is prepped and ready for tomorrow.
