Data Architecture - Modeling Lead
Job Description: • As the Data Architecture Modeling Lead, responsible for leading the design, development, and implementation of data models and architecture solutions • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data integrity, optimize data flow, and enhance data management practices • Own the end-to-end development of conceptual, logical, and physical models for assigned domains • Create design patterns that support batch, near-real-time, and event-driven data flows • Ensure lineage, naming standards, and semantic consistency across tables, views, and streaming topics • Convert models into physical DDL on Redshift, Iceberg, or other AWS-based storage technologies • Document models in the central repository and keep metadata continuously current • Mentor and review work for junior modelers and data engineers Requirements: • Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field • ProvenExperience: 7–10 years of experience in data modeling or data-architecture roles within cloud-native environments • Technical Expertise: Deep practical knowledge of entity-relationship modeling, dimensional design, and schema-on-read techniques • Problem Solver: Distilling ambiguity into clear, well-structured data solutions • Effective Communicator: Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences • Leadership and Mentorship: Mentor junior modelers and data engineers • Innovative Thinker: Stay current on industry trends and best practices in data architectureBenefits: • Competitive Pay and Bonuses • Financial Planning and wellbeing • Time away from work • Extras, discounts and perks • Growth and Development • Health and Wellness Apply tot his job
