Manulife is a leading international financial services provider, and they are seeking a Data and Reporting Analyst to join their Reporting and Analytics team. The role involves developing and maintaining dashboards in Power BI, performing data modeling and analysis, and managing access controls while contributing to innovative reporting solutions for the organization.ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain dashboards and reports in Power BI to visualize operational performance and key metricsPerform data modeling, transformation, and analysis across multiple datasets to build insight‑driven dashboards that support decision‑makingBuild skills in Microsoft Power Platform (Power BI, Power Automate, Copilot Studio) and SQL, with opportunities to learn additional tools and technologies (Azure, Python, C#, etc.)Manage permissions and access controls across Power BI workspaces and SharePoint sites in alignment with least‑privilege and audit requirementsDocument solution requirements and present recommendations in a clear and concise mannerSkills1–2 years of experience in business intelligence, reporting, or data modelingProficiency in Power BI for dashboard development and visualizationExposure to SQL or similar programming/scripting languagesBasic understanding of the Microsoft Power Platform and Microsoft 365 suite, with a willingness to continue developing these skillsStrong communication skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insightsDetail-oriented with a focus on data accuracy and consistencyExposure to cloud technologies (e.g., Azure, Databricks) is an assetFamiliarity with data governance principles and best practicesCollaborative, adaptable, and eager to learnUnderstanding financial services or wealth and asset management is an assetBenefitsHealth, dental, mental health, vision, short- and long-term disability, life and AD&D insurance coverageAdoption/surrogacy and wellness benefitsEmployee/family assistance plansVarious retirement savings plans (including pension and a global share ownership plan with employer matching contributions)Financial education and counseling resourcesGenerous paid time off program in Canada includes holidays, vacation, personal, and sick daysFull range of statutory leaves of absenceCompany OverviewManulife is a leading international financial services group that helps people make their decisions easier and lives better.
