The Data Analytics Consultant will be a pivotal member of the Analytics Team, responsible for delivering critical insights that drive data-driven decision-making for financial institution clients. This role will be part of the data engineering team and will be responsible for ensuring that client-provided data is reviewed, imported, transformed, and quality-controlled into specifically requested data warehouses for ongoing projects and services.This is an exciting opportunity for an individual who thrives on transforming raw data into business intelligence and enjoys working in a fast-paced, client-focused environment. You’ll be part of a team that is shaping the future of analytics for financial institutions, where your insights and solutions will have a real impact.RESPONSIBILITIES: • Collaborate with clients to receive, validate, and integrate delivered data files and data from other sources, ensuring accurate and timely loading across all active Data Analytics data warehouse environments.• Work with the Data Team Manager to monitor and maintain different data workflows.• Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable, and efficient ETL/ELT pipelines• Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines and address performance and reliability issues.• Collaborate with data analysts and data scientists to understand requirements and support their data needs.• Maintain comprehensive documentation of data architecture, workflows, and transformation logic.• Implement and promote data best practices, security, and governance standards.QUALIFICATIONS: • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.• 3+ years of experience in data engineering or similar roles.• Experience building, maintaining, and scaling ETL/ELT processes and infrastructure• Advanced level skills with MS SQL• Advanced proficiency in Python for data processing.• Hands-on experience with data pipeline tools (SSIS, Airflow, DBT) and version control systems (e.g., Git).• Knowledge of data modeling, schema design, and performance optimization.• Must be able to multitask and be very detail oriented. Teamwork attitude, flexibility, and the ability to manage different phases of a project.• Strong communication and presentation skills.PREFERRED:• Prior experience working at a financial institution.• Knowledge and experience working with business intelligence tools.• Experience integrating AI into data pipelines to detect data anomalies.
