Data Analyst/R Developer (73805)
Centurion is proud to be the provider of mental health services to the Maryland Department of Public Safety and Correctional Services.
We are currently seeking a full-time Data Analyst/R Developer to support our Maryland team.
The Statewide Data / Reporting Analyst is responsible for supporting operational and clinical contract requirements via data pipeline development and maintenance, report building, and dashboard creation.
ā¢ The Data Analyst/R Developer is responsible for supporting operational and clinical contract requirements via data pipeline development and maintenance, report building, and dashboard creation.
ā¢ Become a subject matter expert
ā¢ Communicate data across departments and disciplines
ā¢ Deliver urgent ad-hoc results to leadership and colleagues leveraging R or SQL
ā¢ Work with management to create, update, and revise project plans
ā¢ Adapt existing R scripts for building reports
ā¢ Write novel R scripts to create aggregated data sets and reports
ā¢ Create and modify data pipelines
ā¢ Create and modify Power BI dashboards to project purpose, following defined branding conventions
ā¢ Write and maintain project documentation
ā¢ Meet with leadership and colleagues to review reports/dashboards and gather feedback
ā¢ Adapt R scripts, reports, and dashboards in response to feedback
ā¢ Communicate promptly with leadership and colleagues via Teams and email
ā¢ Engage with colleagues for brainstorming, idea sharing, and continuous learning
ā¢ Analytics Requirements:
ā¢ Think outside the box
ā¢ Enjoy a challenge and quickly modifying daily priorities
ā¢ Happy to engage with others to learn and share concepts
ā¢ Excited to work with dirty data to find business solutions
ā¢ Willing to go into a prison site from time-to-time to train health care staff to use the data tools we create
ā¢ Fluent in R; at least intermediate in SQL
ā¢ Able to create Power BI dashboards using Power Query
ā¢ At least 2 references
ā¢ Complete a live coding proficiency demonstration via a Teams with management
ā¢ Qualifications
ā¢ Bachelor's degree in data analytics, informatics, computer science, mathematics, or statistics (master's degree preferred)
ā¢ 1+ years SQL experience
ā¢ 3+ years R experience
ā¢ 1+ years Power BI experience
ā¢ Exposure to clinical datasets such as pharmacy, EMR, or claims
ā¢ Exposure to Human Resources (HR) data
