Data Analyst/Curator
Liaison International is focused on helping higher education institutions build better, more diverse classes through innovative data-driven solutions. The Data Analyst/Curator will work with the Data Science team to develop new features, strengthen infrastructure, and ensure data quality for client success.ResponsibilitiesConduct thorough data inspections, identifying and resolving data inconsistencies with precision and accountabilityDevelop and tailor data processing pipelines and creative feature engineering to uniquely fit each client’s requirementsBuild and maintain configuration files, data, and automation scriptsBuild, validate, and troubleshoot predictive data science models in collaboration with the Data Science team using internal tools and metricsCommunicate technical data requirements, project timelines, and updates to both internal and external stakeholders (both written and verbally)Serve as an authority and consultant alongside the Client Success team to guide new clients through implementation and existing clients through data updatesCollaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, resolve issues, and optimize delivery of new and existing products and internal toolsAutomate or help automate as many manual data analysis activities as possibleSkillsBachelor's degree in math, computer science, business analytics and information systems or another relevant field requiredDemonstrated related experience may substitute for preferred educationAdvanced proficiency/fluency in SQL query writing and debuggingProficiency in Git/Github and version control methodologiesFamiliarity with using AI (artificial intelligence) and LLM (large language models) to improve efficiency and workflowsAbility to learn new software and technologiesAbility to translate technical findings into client-friendly insights both verbally and in writingExperience operating in a consultative approach in client and internal interactions, employing active listening, summarization, and context-settingWillingness to assist other team members and drive innovation to improve personal and team-wide efficiency and growthDemonstrated interest in pursuing knowledge and collaborating across Othot and Liaison teamsProven success in independently troubleshooting and resolving data and configuration issuesExperience in applying and documenting methodical approaches to debugging and root cause analysisCapacity to manage multiple projects or tasks at once, including setting and communicating appropriate timelines, prioritization, and risk or updates throughout the life of the projectEfficiency mindset to deliver high-quality results in a scalable, effective wayDesire to deliver outputs and deliverables with accuracy and attention to detailWillingness to take full responsibility and accountability for all assigned clients and outputsAdvanced degree in math, computer science, business analytics and information systems or another relevant fieldCompany OverviewLiaison helps higher education institutions identify, recruit, and enroll best-fit students with improved outreach, application, and enrollment processes.
