Data Analyst & IT Support

This role involves supporting the Operations Team with actionable insights and ensuring data integrity through various responsibilities.ResponsibilitiesGather data from internal and external sources, ensuring accuracy and completenessClean, organize, and maintain datasets to ensure data integrity and consistencyUse database management tools to efficiently store, retrieve, and manage dataAnalyze datasets using statistical methods to uncover trends, patterns, and actionable insightsDevelop and maintain dashboards and visualizations using tools such as Excel, Tableau, Power BI, Python, or R to communicate findings effectivelyIdentify and address business challenges through data-driven solutions and recommendationsCreate and deliver comprehensive reports summarizing key metrics, trends, and actionable insightsPresent findings to stakeholders clearly and concisely, enabling informed decision-makingMonitor and analyze performance indicators, providing regular updates and insightsCollaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data needs and gather requirementsTranslate business objectives into clear, actionable data requirementsSupport data-driven decision-making across departments by providing reliable and timely analysisApply predictive modeling, trend analysis, and other statistical techniques to forecast and optimize outcomesIdentify opportunities for process optimization and automation through data insightsResponding in a timely manner to IT related issues and requestsInstalling and configuring computer hardware (printers, scanners, tablets, etc.) and/or software (Office, ERP, Solidworks, etc.)Providing technical support and training across the company (in person or over the phone, teams)Creating accounts for new hires and deleting/disabling them upon departure to maintain securityRepairing and replacing equipment as necessaryTesting new technologyOther duties as requiredSkillsBachelor's degree in computer science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related fieldExperience in data analysis or a related field (or equivalent academic experience)Ability to work with large datasets and perform data cleaning and manipulationProficiency with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)Experience with databases and querying languages (e.g., SQL)Knowledge of programming languages (e.g., Python, R)Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and problem-solving skillsExperience with statistical analysis and modelingAbility to work independently and in cross-functional teamsExcellent communication and presentation skillsProficiency with SmartSheet is an assetBenefitsFlexible work arrangements (work from the office 1 day per week after Orientation)Active Social Committee with wonderful company cultureActive Inclusion, Diversity, Engagement, and Accessibility Committee with monthly initiatives to promote inclusivityOpportunities for growth and developmentGreat team to work with!Company OverviewTayco is a office furniture manufacturing company that produces and distributes office furniture like systems, tables, and accessories.
