Handle complex data requests, reports, and predictive data modeling.Analyze health management programs including: data collection, validation and outcome measurementMay include:Financial, pharmacy, claims, provider, and member dataIRS, CMS, HHSC, HEDIS reportingInternal data cleansing and data reconciliation analysisTrend analysis in various functional areas of health care managementCreate and generate reports through MS-Excel, MS-Access, and SQL using Business Objects interface and direct links to core databases (ODS/EDW)Produce reports for and interface with senior management and internal and external stakeholdersGather and interpret business requirements and monitor data trends to proactively identify issuesExecute data changes and update core systems as neededHandle multiple projects and timelines effectively and communicate risks and issues to manager regularlyAssist with training lower level Data AnalystsPerforms other duties as assigned.Complies with all policies and standards.Education/Experience:Bachelor’s degree’s related field or equivalent experience. 2+ years of statistical analysis or data analysis experience.For Nebraska Total Care, the following is required:Proficiency in SQL, writing complex queries, data manipulation, stored procedures, functions, and triggers, query optimization and performance tuning.Understanding of normalization/denormalization and designing relational schemas.Experience with MS-Excel, SQL using Visual Studio, automating jobs with Visual Studio SSIS, Power BI interface and direct links to core databases (EDW/Snowflake).Understanding of how SFTP works (SSH-based file transfer)Familiarity with tools like WinSCP, FileZilla, or command-line SFTPPay Range: $55,100.00 – $99,000.00 per yearCentene offers a comprehensive benefits package including: competitive pay, health insurance, 401K and stock purchase plans, tuition reimbursement, paid time off plus holidays, and a flexible approach to work with remote, hybrid, field or office work schedules.
