Data Analyst (EST Time Zone)

Hapi (Data Travel, LLC) is a company that specializes in data integration for hospitality companies and their technology partners.
We seek a Data Analyst to help us by providing dedicated support for Hapi Data Platform (HDP) customers. This position will report to the Sr Director of Support.
The candidate in this role will be responsible for delivering HDP to customers. The individual will work with key Hapi stakeholders across Sales, Implementation, and Engineering functions to deliver on customer requirements.
A candidate capable of driving projects to their successful outcomes with effective communication and interpersonal skills will do well.
This role is open globally, but the candidate should be able to work EST hours.
Key Responsibilities
• Collaborate with Project Managers and Customer stakeholders to execute HDP implementations. This includes outlining specific deliverables and providing input to project plans and milestones. Loyalty Systems specific to IHG
• Analyze, model, and query structured data using SQL/other access methods and implement algorithms and software needed to perform analyses
• Leverage data management processes and available infrastructure / Relation data sources/API tools to develop POC capabilities/solutions
• Use good Data Management processes – Preparation, Exploration, Blending, Validation, and Quality Control.
• Keep up-to-date with industry trends and technology developments.
• Assist with other duties as required.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
Required:
• At least 2 years of experience as a Data Analyst or similar role.
• Experience with Data Manipulation/wrangling techniques—Preparation, Exploration and Blending.
Experience in supporting analytics projects in the following areas
• - Consumer Insights, Customer Segmentation, Campaign Development and Web Analytics.
• Good understanding of data manipulation/wrangling techniques
• Experience with command-line scripting, data structures, and algorithms and ability to work in a Linux/Windows environment, processing large amounts of data in an on-premise and/or cloud environment
• Proven self-starter and individual contributor.
• Willingness to learn by engagement. Ability to attack and unpack projects without clear requirements.
• Familiarity and experience with relational databases (Postgresql, Oracle, etc).
• Good oral and written communication skills in English.
Highly Desirable:
• Hospitality industry knowledge/experience.
• Knowledge of IPaaS Data Platforms - GCP, BIGQuery.
• Familiarity or willingness to learn AWS CLI.
