About the Role We're seeking an entry-level Data Analyst to join our team, focusing on developing new reporting and analytical tools to support our drive to 5-star performance for Central Quality. Key Responsibilities Data Query Design and Development : Design, develop, test, document, and maintain database queries and data analysis to support business needs. Report Creation and Visualization : Translate large quantities of in-depth data into reports that display the information's overall significance, using tools like SQL, Tableau, and Power BI. Data Reporting Processes and Procedures : Develop data reporting processes and procedures to ensure timely delivery of daily, weekly, monthly, annual, and ad hoc reporting to management. Troubleshooting and Solution Recommendations : Troubleshoot data integrity issues, analyze data for completeness, and propose documented solution recommendations. Data Conversion and Formatting : Convert complex data from multiple sources into meaningful, professional, and easy-to-understand formats for various audiences. Reporting and Analysis Support : Support reporting and analysis on all business initiative projects and recommend new or modified reporting methods and procedures. Issue Resolution and Coordination : Troubleshoot and coordinate resolutions for all issues related to reports supported by the department. Requirements and Qualifications Essential Qualifications Bachelor's Degree : A Bachelor's degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, Information Technology, or a related field is required. Reporting and Analytic Experience : 2+ years of reporting and analytic experience. Power BI/ Tableau Development Experience : 1+ year of Power BI/ Tableau development experience. SQL Proficiency : Proficiency in SQL and developing efficient, well-performing queries. Preferred Qualifications Statistical Software Experience : Experience in Statistical Software such as R/Python. Managed Care Environment Experience : Experience in a managed care environment. Medicare Advantage Plan and Claims Experience : Experience in Medicare Advantage plan and Claims. Analytical and Problem-Solving Capabilities : Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities with special attention to accuracy and detail. Self-Starter and Prioritization Skills : Self-starter with a proven ability to take ownership of job responsibilities and ensure successful completion of all projects and requests.
