What To Expect (Job Responsibilities)

As a Data Analyst 2 (SAS), your key responsibilities will include:


Design, Development, and Deployment of Data Analytics Programs: Support the design, development, testing, and deployment of data analytics programs using SAS and relational databases.
Production Support: Provide production support for scheduled and ad-hoc processes, addressing job failures and user concerns.
Data Collection and Interpretation: Collect and interpret data from various sources for analytics purposes.
Data Tool Development: Develop data tools such as dashboards and data visualizations using SAS and Power BI.
Problem-Solving and Ad Hoc Reporting: Solve moderately complex problems and provide ad hoc reporting and analysis as needed.


What Is Required (Qualifications)

To be successful in this role, you will need:


Programming Experience: 3+ years of experience as a programmer using BASE SAS, SAS/Macros, and Proc SQL.
Data Analysis Experience: 3+ years of data analysis experience with large volumes of data and relational databases.
SQL Query Development: 3+ years of experience developing/writing SQL queries.
Data Visualization Experience: 1+ year of experience developing data visualizations and dashboards using BI tools like Power BI.
Advanced MS Excel Skills: Advanced skills in MS Excel.

We are looking for candidates with:


Advanced SAS Programming Certification: Advanced SAS programming certification.
SAS Viya Platform Experience: 2+ years of experience leveraging the SAS Viya platform.
Teradata Utilities Experience: 2+ years of experience using Teradata utilities, including FASTLOAD and MULTILOAD.
Snowflake Experience: 1+ year of experience with Snowflake.
